AFGHANS FOR THE HOMELESS
Asbury members have created many beautiful and much appreciated afghans for the homeless in our community. Many hands have been busy creating squares for afghan squares. If you would like to help with this important ministry, pleas drop off your 7x7 inch squares in the church office. At this time there are also three afghans to be whip stitched together. Brenda would be happy to show you how to whip stitch, it is very simple to do and there is no crocheting or knitting experience necessary. The afghans that are ready to be whip stitched are in bags in the church office, feel free to take a bag home and return it when you can. Thank you for your help in this ministry that supplies warm afghans for the homeless in our community!
