PURPOSE DRIVEN STEWARDSHIP FOR PURPOSE DRIVEN MINISTRIES
Update on the 2012 Stewardship Drive. As of Jan. 12th we have received 280 commitments totaling $525,356.

To the Asbury United Methodist Church family: There are no words that adequately express our appreciation for the caring and support you have shown us throughout the past seven months. This time of Tina's illness and death has been the most difficult season of our lives, and as our church family you truly have been Jesus' hands and feet to us with your prayers, calls, cards and countless other acts of kindness both large and small. You have kept us going with delicious food for our family at home and continue to nourish us with many prayers as we move forward. Thank you for the wonderful and memorable celebration of Tina’s life; the Praise Band was perfect and the feast following the service was delightful. We are so blessed during this season and of how lucky we are to have you as a church family.
Thank you for everything, Peter, Sophie and Hudson Wiklund, Paul & Ginny Wiklund, Gordon & Karen Watson

If you would also like to help with this important ministry by donating money for postage, which is always our biggest expense, you can get a free Papa Murphy’s Peel - a - Deal Card valued at $30.00 (the card NEVER expires and can be used at all the Quad City locations) for every $5.00 donation made. Also be sure to drop off a picture of your student for our College Bulletin Board that will be going up in the west narthex in early January!

Donation boxes will also be placed in the east and west narthex in early January where you can place a variety of items for our February mailing. The following donations would be greatly appreciated: microwave popcorn, hot chocolate, ramen noodles, individually wrapped valentine candy and packs of gum, post - it notes, highlighters and pens.
