Newcomer’s Gathering

Are you ready to be a member of Asbury? If so, please join us on Sunday, July 23 for the next Newcomer’s Gathering.

We meet between services (9:45-10:45AM) downstairs in Lower Fellowship Hall.There will be refreshments, fellowship,

and a short video about Asbury. We will answer questions and give you information

Our UMC History

The people of Asbury United Methodist Church are part of the second largest Protestant denomination in the United States. Our worldwide connection includes approximately 12.8 million members. The United Methodist Church was formed when the Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church merged in 1968, but we trace our heritage back to the movement begun in 1729 in England by John and Charles Wesley.
