Good News! June, 2018

The Worship Commission invites members and their guests to attend a special social event at the Bill Bowe Bandshell in Veteran’s Memorial Park on 23rd street on Friday, June 22nd at 7:30pm. The DCamp Family will be presenting their annual band concert and it’s our chance to support them and enjoy an evening in the park with great music and an ice cream social. Each Friday night in June and July there are concerts at 7:30 at the bandshell. It’s a great time to join with other Asbury families to enjoy great music on summer evenings.

Audio - Praise Worship

Audio of each worship service is available to stream or download to your computer.  A CD of the 8:30 worship service can be made available by request.

Our UMC History

The people of Asbury United Methodist Church are part of the second largest Protestant denomination in the United States. Our worldwide connection includes approximately 12.8 million members. The United Methodist Church was formed when the Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church merged in 1968, but we trace our heritage back to the movement begun in 1729 in England by John and Charles Wesley.
