This is the new Covenant statement that is for the Youth Groups and Sunday Programing.  This Covenant is entered in by both Teachers and Youth so that both can provide the best atmosphere for learning and growth in God.

As a youth ministry team we have updated the Safe Sanctuary Policy for the Youth Groups.  We will be following the rules and procedures as outlined here.  This also provides guidelines for any Volunteer to follow.  For further questions please contact Youth Ministries Director.

Our UMC History

The people of Asbury United Methodist Church are part of the second largest Protestant denomination in the United States. Our worldwide connection includes approximately 12.8 million members. The United Methodist Church was formed when the Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church merged in 1968, but we trace our heritage back to the movement begun in 1729 in England by John and Charles Wesley.
